This is a short experiment I made using the CBasiCore software (built in Max/MSP).  The software is easy to use and has some great nostalgic 8-bit sounds.  No MIDI capability unfortunately, but lots of fun to play with and the 'export audio' feature adds a nice touch to recording the output of it.  Click on the picture for more info...
